The Name :)

This is another blog I have decided to start which will serve to divide and organize my two loves! It will clear the food and nonsense talk out of the crafty boutique :) With that in mind seeing as this is not a part of the boutique page - if you are sensitive you should prob. not read :) I picked the name "The Skinny Bitch" of this particular blog as a "hmmmpph". I have often been called such as my blog title suggests so I figured screw it - I'll run with it.

Yep, I'm skinny and I friggin love food - both to eat and cookin' it up! I am not one to skimp on any craving, nor cheat myself to a delicious treat. I adore a lot of old school techniques and methods which are often times today scorned... such as - I love fat - don't care! No of course I do not just nom-nom on a piece of lard but I do firmly believe the fat has the flavor. I save my bacon grease - sausage fats - heck if a piece of roast (pork or beef) is savory and juicy enough I freeze that w/the natural juices for a savory gravy down the road.

Know what else I love to use and don't give a rats ass about? Butter! I love it and YES you can tell the difference in baking. Not saying I never use margarine but if I do it is a mix of the two. Cookies must have butter - frostings must have butter - gravies, rue - butter butter butter.

Guess what else the Skinny Bitch can't do without? Bacon - I am a firm believer that it just makes everything better. Bacon is just the top of the list for me.

That all being said, I do not gorge or pig out. I believe you can have tasty stuff, just don't eat the whole friggin' thing - I eat all day, spacing out my tasty treats - each time having a little sample and it is great! I get to enjoy all the foods I love minus the over-stuffed food coma that comes from eating 3 pounds of food at once.
