A Savory Little Bit For Your Sausage Gravy :)

I love love love good biscuits and gravy - sadly it is hard to come by unless you make it yourself. A lovely tip for those who love making it at home, from stratch (NO PACKAGE) and like a strong flavored gravy - add sage directly to your rue - truly adds that little notch to take your gravy to the next level. If you have never cooked w/sage - start off slowly - it is overpowering if used wrong - adjust for your taste as you go along.

Side note: Sage is also wonderful on roasted chicken - it really gives a good flavor to poultry in general.

Experiment with this spice - you would be suprised at the many dishes you can use it in!
